Kapampangan, also known as
Pampangan or Pampango, is one of the main languages in the
Philippines. It is spoken by more than 2 million people according the
World Almanac. It is the native tongue of the people of Pampanga and
southern Tarlac, and the area around the former U.S. airbase, Clark
Air Force Base. It belongs to the Malay-Polynesian family of
languages.
